Nice work!! The engine looks great! I don't suppose you have a part number or something for the timing indicator you used? I have the same timing cover and similar pointer but my pointer won't clear the ballancer.

I know what you're talking about there! I had the clearance issue as well. Every time I bought a timing pointer it ended up being for a 7 in balancer, and I had ordered one for an 8 in! I bought this one from Jegs. It's not chromed, but it is functional, and it clears my 8" balancer! This is the one that I have, and the one that you need: http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS/555/51265/10002/-1 thanks for the compliments! I hope to one day make this into a nice cruiser. ...Joe

They look so pretty on the stand you almost hate to put them in the car. Nice work.

LOL! Very true! I am looking forward to hearing this thing run for the first time though! This is my first stroker build, so there will be some anxious moments when I first get it up and running. Thanks for the compliments. It keeps me motivated! ...Joe

I just ordered some more parts for the engine from Jegs. Should be here by Wednesday, so maybe I can get some more done on it this week. I'll post some more pictures as I progress on it. ....Joe

Joe,
you've become the picture geek now. Looks great. Nice to see another '79-'81 camaro being restored. Keep the progress and the pics coming. If your dash pad is any good when you gut the interior I'm looking for one for mine......Mark
