I have one that I used on my 1981 back in the day ... got it it on a trip to San Deigo to see my sister in 1986 ... so it is vintage too. :)
Car is looking good bud !
Be glad you don't live in PA ... we have a bit more snow ;-)

Good to know I'm not the only one that makes slow progress

yea its just a temp deal. I had to install another fuel line on the carb which messed up my normal running of the fuel line. Soon will fix it.

Well it has begun. I dont have pics yet but today i starting taking the car apart. Got everything out other than brake and fuel lines. The rear end is kinda out only thing holding it in is the parking brake. How do i disconnect it? I will get some pics soon. The long road of progress has began again. :bowtie:

Also i did get a new tool box for my birthday (Feb 19th) So that makes a nice addition to the garage. Turned 21 granted i didnt go out and party.

Matt when I took the rear out of mine, I just disconnected the two cables where they meet under the car And took the cables out attached to the rear end, there is a retainer clip on each side where the cables go through the rear frame rails

Did alittle more. Got the springs off the rear. Drums are still stuck on there good. So the rear end is still under the car. Also the rear shackle bolts that are at the top... they are fighting me bad. I cant seem to get them to break loose.

Im still trying to figure out how i want to do my exhaust. I want to lower the front with Hotchkis springs but my exhaust is to low. I was gonna cut my headers and reweld them so they are shorter and closer to the body but one of my pipes are lower than the other... so im not sure yet. Anyways ill shut up here are some pics lol.

Tanks out of the way. Think i will buy a new one.
