Alright my sending unit is supposed to be here friday. Today i cleaned up the tank some. Didnt have enough paint to do the whole tank but i did get the sides and bottom. Used Hammered Steel. Looks nice i think. Also painted the straps flat black. Tomorrow gonna do some work on the bottom of the car.

As far as taking it out? Just take off the hoses on the passenger side of the tank. The gauge wire and the ground strap. Drain the tank and take off the bolts on the strap toward the back of the car and slowly lower it. A jack helps alot. And if that wasnt what u meant lol let me know lol.

Got the sending unit and the tank back in. Did a temporary job of slowing the rust on the floors. Did find a few holes in the back floor but nothing terrible. Its running alot better than it was. Im gonna test drive it tomorrow. Cant Wait.

Well i was really just gonna flush out my tank. But when we pulled the sending unit out the screen was torn. And the only way to replace it was to buy a sending unit. I didnt get pics of the sending unit install. Its just a lock ring basically. The hoses on the side of the tank are the same ones.
