Not a huge update but I finally got around to getting alittle more done on the car. The passenger quarter looks pretty good. I have a couple small body lines that I gotta make sure are straight but overall I think it’s pretty close. The fender extensions, bumper strips and passenger mirror I think are ready for final prime. So next up is epoxy over the burn throughs and then primer. But, I’ve got to restock on some materials first.

I did manage to get my supplies and prime the parts I had ready to go. It’s looking pretty good.

I went ahead and sanded the rocker panel the other night. Then this afternoon after work I started blocking on the door. The edges have a few low spots but nothing too bad. I ran out of time tonight so I’m going to get back at it tomorrow.

That 4 foot sanding block is a work out lol

Made alittle more progress (this heat wave has been rough lol),

Got both doors and the passenger side rocker blocked out. Other than a few small shallow lows on the edges of the doors they look pretty good. It’s really thrown me off with the doors having the slight curve in them but they I think it’s about as good as I can get them. Hopefully tomorrow after work I can put a couple coats of primer on them.

One step closer to the blue stuff.

Alright now! Sags are easy to fix in the primer so don't sweat it!

Keep that momentum and maybe set a target date you want to hit for the next major step with a final date when you want to get the color in it.

Post those dates and we can cheer you on!

I’m gonna do my best! The main body shouldn’t have too much left I don’t think. Just need the weather to cooperate alittle bit lol. That’s not a bad idea though to set some goals.

I appreciate the kind words everyone!

My tahoes been giving me some fits so I've been working on it lately. Changed front hub assemblies and now the abs and brake light stays on 🙄. So still working on figuring that out.

I got alittle time to get out and work on the car last night. Of coarse Gavin wanted to go out with me, so I put him to work lol (needed a fan and music of coarse)

I got about half the roof blocked out. Honestly it looks pretty good. I’m gonna try to knock out the other half tonight.
