Megashifter back to stock... same cable ok?

Hey everyone! I currently have a B&M Megashifter installed (was installed when I got the car) on my 77 Camaro. It’s not secured to the center console and overall I just don’t like it.

I’m going to put a stock shifter back in but am wondering if I can just reuse the shift cable that’s currently attached to the B&M or connect the stock cable. I looked online and I believe the Megashifter came with a new cable so I don’t know if it’s specific to it or not.

Thanks in advance. I have a TH350 if that helps.
