Took some time and had to dot all the i's and cross the t's but I have my title in hand. Will probably be after the holidays before I will have any spare change to spend on it though. Oh well that's life.

Done some digging today. Found more rust than I expected. Don't think the a-pillar is that bad though. Looks like just the outer thin sheet metal. I'm hopefull anyway. Charlton. A-Pillar pics first.

Looks like a pretty good car to start with.

Glad you got your title stuff straightened out. I had to do the same thing when I bought my '87 Suburban last winter. Pain in the rear, but worth it, too.

Oh, my '81 Z28 came with an open diff 3.08 rear...

Good luck!

Thanks Dave! Yes it was a pita on the title. And lots of people couldn't understand why I would bother with this old raggety car. But they ain't as easy to find as they used to be. I ain't got much done yet but I am finally getting to where I can afford some stuff here and there. Fixn to clean off a spot in my yard for a shop. Then the real fun can start. Charlton

Hey! Thanks for stopping by my thread! Just had a read through yours, great to see that you stuck to your guns and got that title worked out.

Plenty of friends and family thought I was mad taking on my 'old raggety car' but it's taking shape now! Everything can be repaired with time and patience and it looks like you've already sourced a key component in that A Pillar! Yours looks like a great start to what will be an swesome ride. Looking forward to watching your progress.

All the best.
