Not a lot of progress lately with some family stuff going on but did get some goodies ordered.

Dropped the stuff at the powder coater on Friday Am and he had it back to me by Monday afternoon and it looks really good.

A new polished radiator.

Some other odds and ends. Powder coated intercooler tubing, polished valve covers and some chrome odds and ends.

I just need to clean and powder coat some hardware and small stuff here at home and I can put a bunch of it back together.

Got a bunch done and re-installed the core support, bumper brackets and intercooler tubing. It looks like a different car with everything powder coated and cleaned up. Still working on powder coating the alternator and some of the pulleys that look sloppy. I'm just trying to figure out what to do for a condenser since the AC is on the passenger side with the LT1. Probably gonna go to the J-yard and measure to see what fits so I can get the new radiator back in it. If anyone has any condenser suggestions let me know. I'll post some pics later today.

I was wondering about something, does your electronics record the mileage at all? I was wondering what to do about an odometer for when I do my electronic panel.

It does, I have an odometer and trip meter I can scroll to on one of the screens. He built a small memory module inline so it will save the odometer permanently and not be susceptible to removing the battery or disconnecting power. We originally had a separate small numerical screen but it got to cluttered so we integrated it.

Took another step forward and scored a new vintage air unit for half price on eBay. I had been looking at other options to clean up the firewall and get a more efficient unit and lucked in to this one. Should save me a ton of fabrication time building or modifying a ac box and ducting and I hear the vintage air units are nice pieces. The seller bought the car and the new unit came with it but he opted to fix the factory air instead of install the new one. Its the kit minus compressor and condenser but I have 2 compressors and ordered a universal parallel flow condenser for $60 that looks eerily similar to the vintage air one they sell for our cars. I'm excited to get it back together but it always takes seems to take longer than I expect.

Cool! I'd be interested in seeing how that works as I'm going to need to do something similar for my car.

I don't remember exactly what he did but I'll find out when I see him and let you know. If I remember correctly it was really inexpensive and fairly easy.
