I´m not a welder, not even a professional, but I´ve done my fair share of it.
And yes, have even welded on a moving object, but those were ships and probably not what you ment... :rolleyes:

I know it´s not a 2nd gen but... just had to buy (with my gf) one daily driver for next summer just in case my 73 doesn´t come together in time :p

This one´s a 68 SS with a 427 and 4-speed manual (M21) :bowtie:

Back in business again :)
Did absolutely nothing on the car since last post, so now it´s time to catch up and get this thing on the road by May (or-so) :rolleyes:

Here´s the 402, from a ´72 Z28.
It was built o few years back with a CompCams 280 cam and 3904390 heads (´67, 98cc, oval port) and everything looks to be ok, so I´m thinking of just a bit of cleaning and maybe a new coat of paint...
Also got a CC 292 cam, we´ll see...

I know the transmission crossmember doesn´t fit from the sbc/350 but how about the driveshaft?
