here is some light progress, front and rear glass out. trying to strip the surface rust and old paint
here is a interior shot minus the seats. i have them but they are out.
and this is my cutlass with an LT1, so more to come. picked up a 93 LT1 trans am motor with 107 miles with harness, pcm, front and rear seats and the gauges from the wrecked car.

so each day i try to get a little done. Ive been working on the body smoothing it out and getting everything ready for paint. keeping myself busy while bondo and paint is drying. i love seeing a project transform
here is the pass side after a quick coat of filler in the low spots
i filled in the holes in the sail body panel and hit it with contrasting filler primers.
finally heres the 93 trans am LT1 destined for the engine bay. but that will be a month or so before i think the frame and trans will be ready to go
Wow nice save. Looks like you really know what you're doing with body work. I wish I had a freakin clue what I'm doing on body work. I'm dreading having to pay someone else to do some minor body work on my 73.
Helped a buddy of mine swap in a vortec 350 into his 78 so I know how the EFI swaps go. Looking forward to seeing this project moving along.
a little more progress... the main hull of the body is mostly one color. now i don't want to make its seem like i know what I'm doing with the body work but I'm teaching myself as i go along. so some stuff i do might not be the official thing to do but hey... fake it till you make it. I'm self taught most everything i know minus a few bits of gold from wrench veterans as i get into bigger projects.
i started playing with body skim, found out it really is just for the minor* imperfections and not so much for build up. but hey live n learn.
after doing a couple areas with the skim i figured im going to use that on the rest of the trunk and doing the hood and front half of the car. filler primer and sanding it killing me. i have patience but when i have my vision... i have to pretty much go beastly. having the lt1 sitting there too is just even more motivation.
