hello, i am new to this site. from the great lakes area, rust is a bad four
letter word here. lol i have owned 3 2nd.gen. camaro"s in my life.
a 73 lt. a 73 z28, and a 76 (which i still have and is for sale) and now
i am a proud owner of a 71 out of state (wyoming title) never seen snow.
greatful to find this camaro.i have some pics coming soon. it does not have
org. motor or trans. the motor is junk but, the trans is 400 turbo w-2500
stahl con. and shift kit, has stock 10 bolt and stock gears i believe. it has
hooker headers,it has a complete hotchkis suspension system front to
rear. springs, bushings,sway bars,sub frame connectors. i believe its a 2''
drop in frt. dont know if i am keeping frt. springs. going to stock. it has
pwr brks, the inter.needs t l c there are new parts dash, carpert,ect.
has pwr windows and shaved door handles,dont know about shaved handles.
the body is rust free yes rust free,,, going to change color. has short rear
spoiler and cowl hood. will post pics soon.

wyoming car thats never seen snow ? its got to have some serious low miles. winter there is 9 months long. sounds like a decent starting point, its a bonus that the suspension is already done. welcome and good luck , you can use the search function here for quick info when working on the car or planning the restoration as you deem needed. post the pictures, its always interesting to see the starting point on these cars.

well, i got to work on my project today. gave it a bath and started
cleaning inside and taking things apart.checked vin tag and orginally
body color was white and inter. was tan color. seat belts are not that
good. and bucket seats will need cushions. body color now is black cherry
i believe. body color change is in need.there is sound deaden looks like
in all the pannels that can be. rear bumper is new but will have to be
removed for color change. as the front bumpers will need either rechromed
or replaced.
steel cowl induction hood is new.
possible sell or trade for L88 cowl induction hood. will have to replace both
side windows. w-shield is new and back glass is good.well, hope to
get more done before weather gets to cold.
