This is one I am going to be watching cause of the sheer scale and tech its going to take. You got the skills as a previous builder and it looks like you got tools/space. Run with it man.

Seeing as i was going full frame i could do anything i wanted suspension wise. so Corvette c6 front suspension it was. Here was the beginning of the mock up for the front.

when building the lower mounts i decided that it was important to keep the lower control arm adjustable like it is on the corvette so the mounts were designed to accept the original camber bolts.

There is no doubt about the fact this build has become a streetable race car. Which i may try my hands at the optima ultimate street car challenge when its done.

anyway.. the center section is currently complete but i dont have any good photos. i am currently building the engine/tranny mounts to hold the motor and transmission secure and am mocking up the rear. Instead of using a solid rear axle the car will be equipped with the multi link suspension out of the 2016 camaro. i purchased all new on car adjustable trailing arms, control arms, and tow rod from BMR Suspension so that the rear was fully adjustable. as i get more of the rear rails and stuff done i will post more photos.
This looks like one helluva project, anxious to see updates.keep us updated with your progress.

Interesting project, just wondering about track width, can you make it fit a second gen?

I can actually place the track width wherever i want with doing a full custom frame. It is just a matter of axle length and i can lengthen or shorted the axle shafts as needed.

So its been a bit since i have really had any time to work on the car. My business partner decided it was time to buy another property so i am in the middle of renovating a 200 year old house into her new hair salon. It has been a huge uphill battle (i would much rather be working on the camaro). She however is my financial wizard so when she suggests something i listen. This is pretty much what i have been up to.
