Rick,
Come on buddy let us have this little bit of discount. LOL Everyone is learning that you guys have the best dash pads so help us out with a little bit of a discount. Just kidding man I understand. We do appreciate you actually posting on a forum with us normal Joe's.

Thanks
Carlo C.

Hey, I left the door open for him to go ahead and buy one from CC before we kindly ask them to correct their pricing!! LOL... Camaro Central moves a pad that we already sold them, and everybody's (hopefully) happy. ;)

Seriously, we're very well known for not, ever, doing sales or discounts or points clubs or any of that type of stuff. It's by design. All of that stuff comes at a cost, usually a cost covered by the prices of all the non-sale products, or a cost covered by all of the other customers who's timing or awareness wasn't in sync.

From the early days, we've never sought to rob Peter to pay Paul, or give preferential pricing to one group while essentially gigging all the others to pay for it.

Big or small, internet or old-school phone or counter, rich or poor, our mission has long been to be to offer fair every-day pricing to every customer, and not force you to jump through hoops, or wait until Labor Day, or monitor/perform under some ludicrous points program, to buy your parts. You need what you need when you need it, and you shouldn't have to wait for sales or promotions or points to accrue to get what you need. It should be on your schedule, not ours. So we keep it very simple and steady, 24/7/365, for everyone.

It makes us look like Scrooges over the holidays, but hey, we're not the ones then jacking-up everything post-holiday to mend the wounds and poach the January buyers.

Sorry for the self-indulgent speech!! LOL... I just, sometimes, have to explain why we're not a discounting and sale machine. That's a different business-strategy that we find to be rather "slimy" when you peel back the curtain at the realities of the practice.

Thanks for letting me blab, and have a great weekend folks.

Rick, if I were to purchase a dash pad for a 74 with AC, what other fasteners / parts should I order that don't come with the dash?

Thanks for hanging out here.

1. We do not (we refuse) to wholesale to Summit. So Camaro Central is the only place, other than ourselves (NPD), selling our exclusive dash pads.

2. If you can still buy one from Camaro Central for cheap, you'd better hurry, because I just discovered how badly they're submarining us, as their supplier for these pads, and I'm politely having my team put an end to it.

Rick,
Will you ever offer these pads in anything but black?

Question for Rick at NPD.
Do you offer a veterans discount?
If so and I hope you do what kind proof do you require to confirm a vet.
The is no chance I'm sending you a copy of my DD214.

Thanks for hanging out here.

For the upper clip kit, our pads install with the NPD # C-14655-57K kit https://www.npdlink.com/product/dash-instrument-panel-pad-retaining-clip-kit-npd-pads/185580?backurl=search/products?search_terms=c-14655-57&top_parent=7&year=

For the remainder of your necessary fasteners, you would want NPD # C-14655-5AK https://www.npdlink.com/product/dash-instrument-panel-pad-fastener-kit-20-pc-kit-includes-screws-flat-sems-and-spring-nuts-for-72-76/111337?backurl=search/products?search_terms=c-14655-5ak&top_parent=7&year=

As for other "parts" you might want or need, I cannot really speak to that, as I wouldn't know what you've got and what you're potentially missing. Our print catalog can be viewed online, and sometimes that's the best way to browse through to see what's available and what you might want to buy new. Start at page 20, and flip all the way through to page 31. https://www.npdlink.com/virtual/1967-1981-Camaro/2025/index.html#p=20

Hope that helps!

No, because the minimum-quantity that the manufacturer would demand to run in each color would wind up being more than 10 years worth of pads... So the only feasible way we can do it is to run black.

We do for active duty military, in person at each of our four counters, only for active-duty though. But we cannot do it over the phone or online, because (as you may or may not be aware) it's a federal offense to make a copy of a military ID, or to send a digitized scan or photo or etc.etc...

There is a 3rd-party app that can be plugged-into websites that confirms military service/status, but our rather antique site admittedly won't work with it. Once we finish the re-write of our main operating systems, we'll then pivot towards upgrading our website, but that's a way's off unfortunately.

We very much appreciate all veterans' sacrifices, we're just a bit hamstrung for doing a broader discount.
