Hi Guys, i'm following this page for a long time, but this is my first time posting here.

I buy a 71 Camaro here in Chile (we don't have much of those here) and i'm going to resto it.
I already remove all the paint (it rustless) and paint it orange, i also buying parts form the states to finish my resto but i'm just starting it

This are photos when i got it:

Then i remove paint with a friend:

And Finally i paint it on a shop

All of these was last year, and now i have time to continue the restoration.

I already buy a Hotchkiss TVS suspension with Hotchkiss Shocks that i'm isntalling now, also get all the steering bars and bushings new.

I need some help where to continue, i have a TCI 6-SPEED transmission waiting for the car and i think i will build a 555CI BigBlock for it (i already have crank, pistons, rods, heads, efi, oil pan, camshaft, i just missing the block and the intake)

Should i start working on interior?, or let that for the end?

I Need the body panels aligment specs (clearance between hood and fender, hood and door, etc)

I Also have to change the rear gm10 rear axle, i have a ford 9" that i can install (is that a crime? :()

Please comment

Attached are some sheet metal alignment specs. Might need to right click on them, save then open with a viewer to zoom in. The specs are a place to start for flexing over the years can affect the gap. Work with the gaps till you find what you like.

Like the color

Thanks for answers, and for the alignment specs.

About Rear Axle, I'm a offroad guy, (i have 700hp offroad sand jeeps) and i use detroit lockers on them, and i have some of those 28 and 35 splines, but i don't know how those works on street, can i use those or i must use a LSD? or a different locker?

I do not know enough about the rears to comment, however, I have heard, that lockers are good for the drag strip, not so much for going around corners??

Looks great. Pretty hard to find parts down there.
I've done some work in Iquique. I was there during the Paris to Daka rally. Where are you located at?

I like the color, but I would have went with a solid orange instead of breaking it up with the black hood scoop. Either way it looks great!!!
