I'm actually looking to sell the car. A family member wants to sell me their 82 Corvette. It's in great condition and I'm getting a great price to keep it in the family. :)
I'll miss my z a lot, maybe some day I can have both!
Yeah. I really love my car. And I have already put a decent amount of work/money into it.
Another thing I noticed was the brace where the seats bolt onto is pretty rusted. What do you guys think about this? Grind off the rust and por-15 it? Or will this whole piece need to be replaced as well...
Is this what you are talking about? How difficult are they to replace? And is there something else I should be looking for to see if there are any other serious issues?
Thanks,

zooms80z: I don't have a spot weld cutter, but I can pick one up at HF. Seem to get good reviews, and for $5 you cant really go wrong. I have a Hobart Handler 140. I have some air tools, but a small compressor. But I have electric grinder and probably everything else I need. What do you do about...

Once I have it bolted down and it looks good, should I mark all the way around the pan (around the perimeter and braces) from underneath? Then when I take the pan back out drill...
New Floor Pans
In the next couple months I will be starting to replace the floor pans in the z. I have a few questions that some of you might be able to answer.
I am most likely going to buy the LH and RH sides separately. I don't believe I will be needing a full pan. After I get everything...
