Hey guys, in a past life I was an installer of high fidelity radios in cars (side job when I was a mechanic); I was pretty much a prude and would only install high gear back in the 80s. Kenwood, Sherwood, Denon, Blaupunkt and Alpine. My Kenwood in my Camaro antenna pickup failed so I could not listen to the radio and if I wanted to connect my iPhone I needed the USB cable ... all a PIA.

So I wanted Bluetooth and maybe some additional features and found PowerAcoustiks that was sold online or Walmart that was a single din touch screen with Car play and to my amazement this thing works and pretty damn good. Only thing that sucks is the remote which I could care less and I might add a backup camera.

Not too shabby if you ask me for $150.00

That's impressive. Had that existed I a couple of years ago I would have considered for my C5 as the double DIN radio required a different console.
The 'floating' single DIN setups seem really fragile

Wow! A LOT of features in that "radio".
I don't see anything on the wattage output or number of channels etc.

Is it all RCA Output?

^Apparently Walmart doesn't like embedded links. (But the link works.)

I would really have a hard time cutting my dash to install it but there just may come a day...

It has RCA Front, Rear and Subwoofer plus speaker front and rear. I believe 40watts RMS.

what did you use for the kit to install the head unit?
out of curiosity, where are your front speakers installed? just put in a low buck system, didn’t want to cut anything more so probably stuck with just the 2 rear 6x9s. the bezel around the radio had been hacked pretty good before.

It came with a pig tail so I cut the old one off and soldered in, with heat shrinking.
I have two front speakers in the middle of my dash (special kit to use 3" speakers)

All you need is 12v Constant, 12v switch, Ground, Antenna/AMP, Front L/R. Was not difficult at all.

Looks good. I've had analysis paralysis when it comes to what I should do with mine. I have a spare dash already cut for single DIN, but all the push button radios are tough to navigate (and see). Yours looks user friendly. Will it also support Android Auto?
Edit: you have a model number handy? Hard to find with a search here in Canadia.
Amazon has quite a few that look similar, all with different Chineseum brand names, all likely QC time bombs.

Power Acoustik CP-71WA is the model number.

QC time bomb is a great adjective...looks good and for the record, I see the same type of screen face popping up all over...from Harley Davidson aftermarket radios to BMW screens. Looks to be all the same layout but with different size monitors, so maybe this may last a while.
