I just rebuilt the front end steering on my 68 and decided the replace the tires before the alignment.
All four originally purchased in 2016, says Made in U.S.A on inside
2 new fronts purchased last month, says Made in Mexico on inside.

Not that I much care where they were made, but the white letter font is noticeably different, front and rear now.
WTF... BFG couldn't afford to ship the correct font mold to Mexico when they outsourced them.
Just pisses me off and had the bitch a little, rant over...
My understanding is that corky coker is making some of the T/A Radials, possibly the 15" sizes as there are so few vehicles that use something other than the rubber band tires that are so popular these days! I have the white letters turned inside, the blackwalls are more similar 215 60 R15 front, 275 60 R15 rear. Hope you work it out to suit you!

i would take the difference in font over my brown letter tires. 3 of the 4 on my camaro are the nicest shade of brown. Like others, i will just go with coopers next time.

yeah now so...I'm just in this truck for 1 yr now. When I went to pimp it out 10 months ago the plan was (is) BFG All terrain's 35 x 12.5 x 18. No problem. Order the wheels (all satin black) add bushwaker skinny flares (black) to the WHITE truck. Tire guys mounts the tires.....NO WHITE LETTERS OFFERED NOW! Completely screwed the look I was going for! If I had known I could NOT get white letters in the BFG's I would have ordered wheels with a little bit of alum machining done!...

Don’t count on Cooper Cobras to not turn brown. I asked the guy at my tire store about the turd brown white letters on my new Coopers and he just shrugged and said “Yeah, it’s a thing now.” I have to clean them every couple of months with a very stiff brush.

When I needed new tires for my ‘71 RS, I went with the Cooper Cobras. Saved myself almost $500 over the T/As and I can tell you I have zero regrets about running the Coopers. I have the white letters out for that period correct look. They yellow a little, but I hit them with Bleach White spray when I wash the car and they’re bright as day again. I don’t think I’ll go back to BFGs.

That would bug me too! If the older ones don't have much wear on them you could put the ones that look alike on one side and nobody would notice the difference. But that would mean rotating them "side-for-side" instead of the traditional way...

I just finished putting new rear speakers in my 2005 Grand Prix GT2. It has the Monsoon (GM/Delco/Bose) sound system, and the OE speakers are "discontinued". One of the old ones had the foam around the cone tear. I got "Kicker" 6x9s from Crutchfield but had to do some wiring trickery because the Monsoon system feeds the bass and mid/tweets separately.

The OE speakers were made in Mexico and looked like crap! I'm amazed they sounded as good as they did but I can definitely hear the new ones sound better!

It's getting harder to get new parts for these older cars! I need to get new tires for my '76 Monza but finding 215/60-13s is almost impossible! Last set I put on were Yokohama AVS Intermediates and I had to go 205/60-13, which are OK, but since I have 13x7 or 13x7.5 wheels (I forget which) the choices are limited...
15's are getting scarce as well. I don't trust Chinesium off brands.

I thought I had seen that BFG said they turn brown if they don’t get enough sun LOL. They say if you get sun on them, the brown will go away. I have a slight problem with the Browning only on certain letters. I have found that spray-nine and a shop towell rubbing on them will take it off.

I like the BFG on the left. The brown leaching is the ozone protectant inside the rubber. The 1st 4 I bought several yrs ago I had replaced under warranty because the browning just would not clean up. The next 4 were better.

I use this tire cleaner. Your spray, let if sit for 1 min, you can see the brown coming out of the complete tire, scrub with brush, rinse along with the brush. Repeat until no more brown leaches out. I have a friend who tried to buy this and they no longer sell it. Also the cleaner by Turtle Wax which works is no longer available in the USA. It never was in Canada. I bought it near Niagara Falls Buffalo border.

Why is it that whenever a product works well they take it off the shelf? Too toxic?
Unbelievable.
