The '70 Camaro was the first of the 2nd Generation F body. 

It was the first year Camaro:

  •  To have an in-glass windshield antenna

  •  Auto transmission

  • Optional 3 piece spoiler was available (COPO 9796)


My Z28 was ordered by GM Experimental in Oshawa Ontario Canada. The car was not to be sold to

the public but when a GM Executive saw the car, he wanted it, and the car went through the proper channels

and was sold through a Dealership. I purchased the car on 1980 from the original owners brother.

  • currently has a 1970 GM 350/360hp @ 6000 rpm, 380 lb-ft.@4500 rpm LT1 bored 40 over (356ci) 

  • ignition timing - 14 degrees initial / 38 degrees total

  • engine/body and paint redone in 1985, with approx 30k on the motor

  • paint code 75 cranberry red

  • 4.10 posi rear

  • Muncie M22 Rock Crusher HD 4-spd transmission

  • custom cloth interior Z87

  • tinted windows

  • dual mirrors

  • console 

  • distributor is stock with the Crane XR-i digital points conversion ignition module with an adjustable rev limiter

  • MSD blaster 2 coil

  • AC Delco R43 plugs gapped at .040 

  • Taylor 8mm ignition wires with GM boots

  • Goodyear P235-60-15 radials

  • Walker stock exhaust single cross-flow muffler.
