you running a 427 side oiler or a crate 460 in that fairlane. your making me feel bad now, back in 83 i sold my 66 ford fairlane GT .it was an original "R" code fairlane with a tunnel port 427.i loved that car the horsepower and torque out of that motor was unbelievable

no motor yet. this poor 66 Fairlane GTA has been on the backburner since i bought it 10 years ago from a guy in riverside, ca who had it sitting "as-is" for the previous 10 years. he said he and a friend raced it for about 10 years at the riverside track with a 427 side oiler (which he was also selling but i couldn't afford both car & motor... dang i wish i could). there are official ET slips in the ashtray noting the car's quarter mile times. many 10 & 11 second passes and back then it wasn't tubbed. it was also red back then... possibly you've seen it since you live fairly close???

it has 49,000 orig. miles. i dont know when i'll have it running. i would rather resotre the Camaro first.
