Seems like it takes a little while after clicking "submit" for a post to be deleted. Is this just the speed of the database transaction or is there something wrong?

It's because when you delete the post you entered that put it in say slot #1, it has to not only remove your post that brought it to the top, but put the subject back in the order of threads it was in originally.
