I've been on for almost a year and it's amazing what you learn and absorb just reading all the posts. Even if you aren't currently having a similar problem, the knowledge just seems to stay with you.

Don't sweat it! Some of the members cars started out as nothing more than scrap metal with potential! (Mine fit that description.)

When I bought it, there were some very unique features ... $5 rattle bomb paint job (two cans I think), miscellaneous dents, scrapes and gouges, indoor/outdoor carpeting screwed to the floor (through a wiring harness!), a headliner that flapped in your face and a V6 that knocked so bad I didn't think it would survive the 8 mile drive home.

So... don't be embarassed, set some goals and work towards them as time and money permit. Nobody will fault you for that here!

heak, if I can post my rattle trap here anything goes. Don't worry about it, we all just love these cars and are happy to see another one kept from the scrap yard.
