I'm Russell Bolding and live in Colorado Springs, just wanted to share my experience with everyone since I love the hobby so much. I have been an Army mechanic for 13 years and have been dreaming of doing a restoration with my boys. Here are the results so far.

Welcome to the board! Looks like you have a real nice project there. This site has a lot of good info and very knowledgable people. If you have any problems or questions just ask away. My brother-in-law use to be stationed at the Air Force Academy there in Colorado Springs back in the early 90's. Saw lots of nice scenery the last time I visited out there. His son just moved to Denver a couple months ago and he really likes it over there. Anyway, good luck on your project!

Welcome... Nice car. You are further ahead than me...

FYI: Given where the signal lights are located.... I doubt very highly that you have an RS. It has the Z28 stripes?

What is the VIN? (you can XX out the last 5 digets if you wish)

you are right it's not an RS but with an entire new front clip it will be. I like the Look of the RS much better. thanks for all the responses everyone.

Hi Russell! Gota love it. My son is 10 and he's expecting to be driving my 78 when he's 16 or so. I think he will have to wait until he's 18. Get a little driving experience before I give him all them there horsies to play with. Not a good car to start out in. Good start so far on your project. looks good. Welcome..
