Why is it that once you post a topic you can't edit the topic subject anymore?

Only reason I ask is because sometimes you don't think about the best way to word a subject until after you have posted. Either that or you realize after you've posted that you've made some sort of silly spelling error.

if you catch it before anyone replys you can always copy the body of the post, delete it and start over.

Yeah, I thought about that .. but what about if you don't catch it til aftewards?

It just seems strange that you can edit pretty much everything else about a post but the subject.

Yeah I would have to say that being able to edit your topic after posting would be useful sometimes.Good idea.
