Instead of having to read a long thread, have ya'll ever considered adding a "poll" feature to the site. The best example I can site is the "poll" that NASCAR.COM put on their homepage. You select your answer, push vote and a pop up comes up with the percentages.
This would be nice for questions like:
whats your favorite resto parts seller
whats your favorite speed parts dealer
etc...
Course the bs topic would come up with all kinds of polls....
Just a random thought.

It'll take a bit to put together a rating type poll for a bunch of companies. I'll get to work on it as soon as I have some time.

How accurate are these anyway? What's to stop someone from voting multiple times?

Looks to me like they store your IP address, and if it already exists in their data you can't vote again.

It stores IP addresses/ MAC addresses and uses cookies. There is really nothing stopping anyone from being deceptive, if they want to go through all the work. There is by no means anything scientific about these polls either. It's only "advertised" here so it's a relatively small group being polled.

If someone wants to help me get it crawled and noticed by search engines or wants to post it up on other like message boards that'd be fine.
