First- don't get me wrong- I'm not answering for Mike- but really- the board areas have been set up in a pretty "generic" way so that just about anything can be talked about and the only area along the lines of what you're suggesting is the Numbers decode/originality area. If another dedicated area was created- wouldn't we also need one for year-specific common mods? A flat out "nothing original" topic area, etc. etc?

My point (and I do like the topic in general you're speaking of) is that we could fill the board with all sorts of areas of this sort of thing and it could become increasingly hard to navigate efficiently, and quite possibly get redundant real fast- i.e. "do I post my L-88 cowl hood question in Body Topics, or Day2 mods?". I think what I'm suggesting is that a complete board make-over might be required to make it work better if more than one or two areas were to be added- we have great technical info here and great members answering/asking questions, and thus far, a pretty easy system to navigate- but it strikes me the particular format may not be condusive to adding more and more and more topic areas without becoming a "nasty" (hahaha), cluttered pile-up of "stuff". This is the sort of thing that has to be considered as what seems small could become a major job in order to keep the site relatively simple and easy to navigate.
