shouldnt we have a forum for people that have had their cars stolen so they can post what it is. otherwise wont posts with stolen cars get lost and never been seen this guy

or maybe a "lost and found" forum for people trying to locate stuff

To be totally honest- the number of posts for stolen vehicles and "stuff I sold 10 years ago and would like to get back" are very few and far between.

Also- to throw a bit of reality into these sorts of topics- chances are pretty slim anyone is going to find their stolen car based on a post on an internet board, or recover their '70 RS/SS by listing the VIN publicly- so they get put up, people sympathize, and maybe once in a blue moon the person actually gets some useful information on the whereabouts/howabouts of their vehicle/item- but not very often. These types of posts likely have the best chance of any success in the regional topic areas.

Yes, but I sometimes you do get lucky. And after all, there is a large number of people on this board. For example, Aero 80, I'm sure would just love to have some info on his stolen 77z w/ a ZL1 engine. If this info is poster here, in front of people who appreciate and love and notice these vehicles, then that to me is the best chance of putting a watch on these stolen items.
