I wanted to delete a topic I enter by accident twice. It was a dashpad wanted in the swapmeet section. It said I was not authorized because I was not a registered user, which I am. What could I of done wrong?

click the edit button and delete it from there. if you were trying to use the delete at the bottom, that's for mods/admins only

He should be able to delete his own topic, however if you posted in someone elses topic you can not delete your message. if it is your topic you should be able to open the topic and then click the delete at the bottom and with the right user name and password delete it.

You can delete a topic you start. and you can delete a post in any other topic. You have to do it when you edit your post. I know I've done it.
