I just returned from the fairgrounds. Mike, you and your family are in our thoughts; with every car we looked at, with every part we hunted for, and with every burger we ate. YOU are the reason this event was so successful for 2nd Gens. There had to be over 40 70-81 camaros. 27 of them sitting and shining all in a row, and another bunch in the judging area. Many owned by 2gcog members; a great group of guys and gals. We all wish you and your family a speedy recovery. You already know that. But I just wanted to say THANK YOU.

and just to add to that, not only were there more second generation camaros there, but I believe more members took home awards then others! Some others were keeping track and can say for sure, but there were a lot of second gens winning!

Our "little internet club" was mentioned during the awards. As well as the tragedy that has befallen it. Thank you to the folks at Carlisle and the American Camaro Association for all they do there. We ARE the largest Second Generation club, and I think this year went a long way to show that. Everyone was amazed at how many club members and how many second Generation Camaros were there. This is just the beginning for us, and something I hope continues for a very long time, getting better each year.
