I told my fiance' about the accident, Mike, and she was almost as heartbroken as I was to hear the news. She knows how important the 2GCOG community is to me, and feels your pain like the rest of us do.
She will be very happy when I tell her tonight that things are looking better for Danny. Let me tell you, Mike, I am very happy to hear Danny was pulling those tubes off him and giving those doctors a hard time! He's a fighter, and he is going to be alright.

Best wishes, and God Bless from Chicagoland.

MIke, I'm glad to hear that Danny's condition is improving. I hope that everything continues to go well for the rest of the family as well. It strikes as a strong testament to the kind of person that you are that you would express concern for the other drivers involved at a time like this. Just another reason that I am a proud member of this board.

Mike,
As I sit here reading all your posts and the new progress of your young boy and wife... I can't even begin to think of where you must be at right now with all of this. Life is so precious and can be changed in (pardon the term) a New York minute at any given time.
It sounds like things are finally starting to head in the right direction for your loved ones.
You and your family are in my prayers.

Sorry for the pain that you and your loved ones are going through Mike. Ive been lucky for the most part in my life; but damn, in a blink of an eye peoples lifes can be changed so drasticly. I know that there arent many smiles in your near future, But count you blessings, and be thankful that you had the strength phisicaly and mentaly to respond in the few minutes that your family needed you the most. Alot of us look up to you around here. Maybe thats because you run this place. Maybe its because youre a great guy and people are proud to say they know ya. Its kinda odd that it seams that we have to be our strongest when we are at our weekest. Ill pray for you and your family.and hopefully' soon you can get back to the normal, boring life that you are probably missing right now. Take care..Johnny
