My new, well not new, but new to me 1981 z28 camaro.

It needs the engine rebuilt and a carb but other than that its all good. New paint job but no RUST!! .

I got it from him for 600 dollars.

Before I've driven my dads cars ti'll I could catch me a deal, he owns a 1972 SS Camaro.

Well let me know what you guys think, any suggestions on a carb or rebuild kit, I'm looking into getting a cam too with a rough idle lug sound .

Great deal...good luck! Love the "T-tops!" Wish mine had 'em! Have you thought of a paint color yet, or staying with the same color?

Hey guys. Not sure on the color yet, Its originaly dark blue paint but he painted it a red color (the picture makes it look orange).

It might actually not need a engine rebuild. He said his wife was driving it one day and all of a sudden it made a noise and stopped running she told him. When he came to pick her up he saw a puddle of something under the car. Not sure if it was oil or a fluid of some sort.

Hope for the best though.

Thanks guys,

DaveM
