All I need to know is the parts (pictures) that hold the lap belts up on a 1970 Camaro.

Maybe the Ford Mustang Club will be more of a help.

Thanks,
Bob

You already know the person that has the anwser - It's YOU!! All you need to know can be found here http://www.nastyz28.com/cgi-bin/search.cgi?action=intro&default=2 Select the Interior (thats were seatbelts are) and enter the words "seat belt". You will get a listing of topics that contain the words "seat belt" you can usally tell from the title if that post might have the info you need. You might have to read some post that don't really apply. I did find some post with links to pictures and sources for the parts you need.

This board has built up a temendous amount of info over the last 4 years, there are very few questions that have not already been asked. Most of us are addicted to this place but sometimes we miss questions or other priorities keep us from the board. You just posted your ? yesterday, it's probably just a case of the right person not being on the board yet.

We don't have the Ford Mustang Club mentality of just throwing any anwser out, even if it is the wrong anwser, thats why Camaro owners RULE and the rest DROOL.

I hope this helps, just have a little more patience.

Are we suddenly a public service and therefore need to get attitude from people who don't get answers in 5 minutes?

Um- no- we are a collection of people interested in 2nd Generation Camaros. None of us are paid, we get no direct benefit other than association with other like-minded "fans".

That being said- you want instant info- go to a pay-by-the-question service. I'm sure the tech reps at the WorldWide Camaro Association based in Florida would be happy to answer your questions "NOW" for their annual membership fee.

Edit:

Oh, and just to be funny- this isn't a Camaro Question- but more of a "Site Topic" so...

Usually when you don't get an answer in a couple hours it's because the answer can already be found somewhere on the site. It takes more than 5 minutes to look at everything.

Try looking in the interior restoration section. I believe one of our members reproduces the clip your asking about. I'd assume he has a picture of it too.

It's funny, but I saw his original thread, when I had time I was going post some pics of mine since I still have one good one. Didn't get a chance to though.

As I already pointed out I sent the MAN an answer with a GOOD picture.....I'd bet good money that the ORIGINAL restoration guys on this site are way more knowledgeable than any WCA "tech reps" .....Chuck Sharin
