What's the best way to ask someone details about their setup? I read through the Performance Registry and find a combo I like. Then, I want a particular detail, but it's not in his profile. What mufflers do you run, what centerline is that cam set to, etc, etc...?

I don't want to bug anyone with personal emails, plus it would be good for the rest of the board to see the questions and answers. What's the best method?

Email them. If they're busy, they just won't reply back. If they're not busy you can strike up a dialog with them and ask them anything you want. Or call them if they tell you to, or they can direct you to their website where more info might be (or there could be a link to it already). Or you can ask a question of them publically (here) and get a dialog going online so other people can see the information being discussed.
