I agree with eighty. I have have said it several times myself. This is an awesome place. I find more about these cars on every visit and only on occassion do I even see any of the rough stuff in the m.b. sections as the admins and moderators do a great job of keeping us in line. And the chat room... I just hang out there way too much.

Anyway, back to the topic.... Thanks to all who keep this place running!!!

I am relatively new to the board but have owned camaros for about 25 years. I just finished one and starting another. Before the internet, info about resto, racing, tips, tricks and all that stuff was limited to your buddies(who were usually wrong). It was mostly trial and error. Then came this thing called the internet. There you could find info here and there and sometimes not very reliable. It would take hours of searching. Then came along this amazing website dedicated to me and what i love, second gen. camaros. Now, if i need to know something and I mean anything I go straight to SGCOG and low and behold, it is at my fingertips or someone who knows is.The decoding section is invaluable to those of us that buy and sell, as are all the sections. I tell everyone I can about the site. I want to personally thank ALL the people involved in the creation or maintenance of the site for providing quality info for me and especially the younger generation who will carry on what we love to do well after we are gone. Remember "RESTORE EM, DON"T CRUSH EM" !!!!!

I never noticed it either.Thank you to all that run this site, and like Mike said all the people who come here with their knowledge.I've learned a lot here in the last couple years and get to hear about and see some awesome cars, from totally restored too all out race.I'd have to find something else to do with at least an hour of my time everyday if this site wasn't here.

Aw Shucks y'all.

(PS: Admit it lammy, you were ego-surfing and entered "lammy" into the search box and lookie what you found....)

It is good to see credit where it is do. Thanks to all who make this about the only place I spend time on the internet anymore. I am honestly not sure that I would have bought my '70 project last fall if I had not found this site and saw what a great bunch of people would be there to support and encourage. So far the rebuild has been fun but the site (especially the board) has been more fun. I still have no idea what I am doing but winging it is only possible via the help obtained from one source. . .this site.
Thanks to those who make it possible
Financial support to follow as promised

I can honestly say I've made a lot of true friends thanks to this website, and prior to joining the gang I wouldn't have thought that was possible. Thanks a million Mike, and if I can help out sometime, don't hesitate to ask.
and PS, we all know Lammy's an attention hound!!

I'd like to add my "KUDO'S" and "GREAT JOB" to all involved as well. My passion for these cars started long ago, with my first car, and never died. The passion was alway's there, but not the cars. You know, marriage, kids, job, etc. etc., got in the way.

When deciding to get another car to rekindle the passion, I stumbled across this site. It was probably the single most important factor in deciding to go ahead with it. The money was still tight, but with the resources available on this site to help me along, I decided to go for it.

Although not in person(yet), I've met some great people here and hope to meet you face to face @ Carlisle in June.

Thank's again Mike, and ALL involved in this site!

Buddy
