I've been a member for a few years now but have never needed to post anything. All my questions have been answered by looking around here.
On the net I ran into a retired guy that rebuilds tilt columns and has access to other parts like air conditioning. Is it against the rules to post his contact info on the site?

try and convince him to be a sponser

Dunno if it's against the rules. It would certainly be a nice tip. . . I mean if we can post links to things on ebay saying "Hey check this out" why not to someone that offers a hard to find service? As long as it's not in every thread or blatent advertising.

IF:
You have good experience with the guy and he doesn't mind having his contact info broadcasted - then post it in the appropriate forum.
Once. Or if someone asks, you can refer the person to him as an answer.

If the broadcasting becomes a habit that would be a no-no.
