so how much would one of these motions run for these days? and would anyone know where i could gets sidepipes for a 79, (just by chance)

Thank you mike about the sidepipe question.

snickers--I saw them in JCWhitney's catalog for not too expensive. For the length I wanted it was about $169 (don't quote me). www.jcwhitney.com They had them in various lengths and they look pretty good too. Only thing is you have to have a muffler shop make the headers connect to the side pipe. I got a quote for $80 to have it done.

Can't wait to get my car all done. Will be a few years on the paint but the rest will be done hopefully by April or May, thats my goal. Well all except big block, got other projects to worry about getting a big block first. Just going to do a cheapy temporary rebuild on the 307 and enjoy the last little bit of good mpg. Ok ok enough with my ramblings

Should that be my goal? I know i dont have a 454 but how hard would it be to have the ZZ4 running 575hp? and im not sure on what rearend ive got but what would yall suggest?
