It's that virus. Believe it or not, I got one from "you" today and promptly moved it to the trash can.

Do the same with that.

This things really playing tricks on people. Before I learned of it's actions, I emailed about 20 people with the "You have a virus, do a full scan" message.. Little did I know this is what it's creators intended!!

I've been getting blasted daily with all sorts of viruses. I've been getting at least two a day for about a month now.

From some of the twists in the name of the sender and topic, I'd say it's one of those that randomly uses a string of topics and emails from the infected person's (or people's) Outlook.

Sometimes they come out looking somewhat legit if it ends up being a topic you might have recently discussed with the "inserted" sender, sometimes they are obvious garbage.

I just delete them unless someone has specifically notified me that they're sending me an attachment ahead of time. Virus programs aren't fail safe. They're only good if updated VERY frequently, and if the software company (Norton,McAfee, etc.) is on top of all the new viruses. There's always a few days or weeks lag between introduction of a new virus and their creation of an antigen (detection or fix).

I don't know - I don't care who sends me the email, anything with a subject of
"me love you long time - GI"
goes straight into the trashcan.

I've recieved 6 emails from board members this week, but Norton found all of them to be viruses. Makes me mad people are so anal-retentive! I don't hold it against board members, just the jerks that create ths stuff.

review please. I'm still not infected.

view the full email HEADER. (not the friggin infected attachment and thereby get infected bonehead)

Using the above reply as an example, you'll notice the "return-path" is the infected email and the "from" which has my name on it is the account being spoofed.

I'm not infected.
