Hey guys I have question some of you might have a suggestion on.I installed a ZZ4 Crate Engine in my 76 Camaro and it
has had a vibration at 1000-2000 rpm from day one. It smooths out at lower
or higher rpms. I was wondering if it might be the coil, cap or maybe plug
    wires. What do you think?

    Thanks

Did it come with the correct external balance flexplate?

    Yes I belive so.

I should have listed more details. I also installed a rebuilt Th350 with new torque converter.

    Thanks

It is not a bad vibration. It almost feels like I have solid motor mounts. I installed new gm mounts when I did the intall. Just seems like it should be smoother. I was also thinking it might be the torque converter. That is sort of what it feels like, if you have ever experienced it.

    Thanks

I would check the motor mounts, and harmonic balancer and make sure the tranny is bolted up tight. If the vibration was comming from the rear id say look at your driveline.

Try turning the torque converter to one of the other 2 positions on the flexplate and see if it helps.

I will check on those things again. It has the vibration in neutral as well. I was mistaken earlier in the Rpm, vibration starts a 1000 and the smooths out
