Guy, I also made the lower blocks for my 77. I then put them in the sand blaster and gave them a real light sandblasting. They looked like they were the originals when I was done.

That's cool Rob, do you remember what the measurements were? 3/4" or 1" tall?

I don't remember but an inch tall seems to tall.

I was missing one for my '71 and I made an exact duplicate out of aluminum stock , when done I beadblasted the one I made and it looked exactly the same as my original . my original one was 3/4" thick and if I remember correctly the center hole was offset very slightly to one end . cant remember if it was the pin hole end or the other .

Cool thanks. Maybe 70-74 are 3/4" tall and 77-81 are 1/2" tall.

Buddy and Dan make the spacers (patterned off Buddy's originals) for $15 here. Seems like a reasonable price to me.

I'd bet that Buddy or Dan know the dimensions. If I'm not too lazy tomorrow I could try and measure mine (on the car).;)

I just got the blow out clips from Buddy but he was out of the spacers, so I figured what the heck. I made a set.
