Well I got the ignition cylinder out with the key. This may sound like a stupid question...but if the key still won't turn and come out as the cylinder is in my hand, it's just the ignition cylinder I need right?

I had that issue on mine, i had to go under the hood and pull up on the linkage that went to the steering column which allowed me to turn the key all the way to the off position to remove it.

Well actually I have the ignition cylinder out of the car itself with the key. The key should turn if the cylinder is out of the car right? Because my key still is not turning, which lead me to conclude that I need a new ignition cylinder and key. Am I right?
