WTB Two 1970 Rear Bumper Guard (Fangs) 1/4-20 Bolts

    The kit I got is from AMK and the bolts are not flanged. I will part with mine, no need to blow that much at AMK

    Didn't think that was correct. It is listed in the AIM page as "was" with a change date of December 1969, but I'll go for it. Seems like it would be some type of silver plating.

    I’m pretty sure I bought the rubber inserts from Orchard Supply Hardware.

    Yes, those tube nut serts are readily available at LOWES.

    Are the Zinc plated M bolts available at AMK ??? That does it for me...I need to look in my collection to see if i can find TWO???

    I looked through a 2014 AMK catalog. I did not see any bolts with the M head making. The AMK ones that match the closest have the RBW head marking.

    The pic of the NOS kit appears to have the RBW head marking. I sent the owner an email asking for identification of the silver bolt head marking.

    Is the bumper "M" bolt the same size as the finned valve cover "M" bolt? I think the valve cover bolts are readily available.

    They are both 1/4-20 and the length has some forgiveness in the well nut so yeah, I think they would work fine even if the valve cover bolt is a bit long.
    Do you have a source for the valve cover bolts?
