    Hello,

Looking for 1970 RS Z28 4spd Camaro. Prefer numbers matching motor and restored. No projects, don't have the time for one.

Will also consider 1971 RS Z28 4spd Camaro...

    Please PM.

    Thanks,
    Tubby

Question, what is a ball park value of a 1970 RS Z28 4spd survivor worth? Car is in great shape from pictures. Per owner original paint and untouched ($85k price tag).

    Thanks

Depends on how much of a survivor and condition, a few weeks ago one survivor just sold at auction for $100K....$85K might be a bargain depending on the car, driveline, options, docs etc. Post some pics of this one and then folks can provide a better idea of value.

What's the mileage and options? Norwood or LA built Z28?
    A 69 Z/28 isn't bringing in $85k today.

I'm sure this isn't the price for an unrestored car.

I always wonder about these "guides". Power windows?? Show me one legitimate one from the factory. 4 speeds seem to bring more than 7%, but its hard to draw an apples-to-apples comparison where you find two otherwise identical cars that differ only in the transmission. Even a #5 TRUE Z28 would bring more than 4400. Unless there was nothing Z left of it at all.

I almost hate to include that 100K Z28 from the Mecum auction. It is really a one of one with the black paint and stripe delete, not to mention COPO spoilers. The same car without the black paint and stripe delete would be in the 50 to 60 range, not including the mileage factor (which I don't know in that case).

But you are correct in that the market for first and second gen Camaro-Z28's is softening I think. I think all of the musclecars of that era will soften in general with only the creme de la creme cars staying the same or increasing. The market is saturated and the buyers are getting fewer with each passing year.

I wouldn't be too fussy on the options if you find one.
