Why we put fuel motors in back now...

    Tom Ferraro' AA/FA blowing up big time...suffered massive 3rd degree burns but somehow survived and went on to race funny cars...guess he never learned,lol. :eek:

    That's why they wore space suits back then and the modern F/C's use an O2 bottle.

    I bought a fresh air system & helmet for my slow ass junk in case I ever shot off the fire system.

    I think the catalyst for safety regulations such as clutch shields was when Don Prudhomme had a clutch explosion take part of his foot off. I think. It might have been Don Garlits. It's been a few years.

    It’s a BAJA (SCORE)
    Replacing fuel tank... to much fuel behind the seat...ouch!
