    image.jpg All 4 wheels up, my buddy John in the yellow slingshot at Bowling Green 2 years ago. The other guy was making his first pass in a brand new car, hooked to the left right off the line and went right behind him an slammed the wall

    John I've got a question for you. A lot of those cars had velocity stacks on them. Were they just for looks or did they improve the performance of the cars?

    What makes me laugh is all these cars with the wheels up with the front wheels turned. I've done it. Believe me it don't do $hit! Both me and the Kid were laughing about that the other day. Guess it's human nature when you're heading toward the fence or the other guy. Steering wheel sure turns easy!

    I believe on a high HP motor, I'm sure you'd see a gain with the velocity stacks...

    Those were run on mechanical fuel injected cars. Hilborn fuel injection for example. My father used to run a 64 Nova straight axle gasser with a 426 Hemi with Hilborn fuel injection. It was very functional.
