Wheel info for anyone interested....(Chuck)

    Why would you have to pull the trim ring off? Aren`t we talking about the hole thats on the out side part of the wheel?

    Yes, that is the hole we are discussing, but I think Chuck is taking it one step further. He probably means that the date code wouldn't be visible unless the trim ring is off, and these rings aren't something that can be easily removed.

    Step one would be to get wheels with the correct hole size for your car, and then if possible to match date codes too.

    My 70 May Norwood rim is AU 21 4 K10. The 5/8 and 13/16 is that the height or width of the oval? Mines 1" x 5/8 wide.

    COPO, Without seeing your wheel, your numbers are in reverse order from what I'm used to seeing...........I'm thinking that wheel is 4th month (April) 21st day 1970 at Kelsey Hayes #1 plant location...............

    I have 13/16" oval / GM D / K10 6 1 AU 70 June 1 on my 06D Norwood build.

    Thanks to ALL for new contributions to wheel "hole" size and dating.....PLEASE INLCUDE plant where your car was built along with car build date AND wheel info so "someone" can add to Dans data base..............
