I'm quite aware of their roller rockers but I keep seeing other parts (timing gear sets, etc.) that are Scorpion brand.
Are these parts made by the same people or is some Chinese "brand borrowing" going on here?
Either way, I know the rocker arms are good. Are the other Scorpion parts good?

I know they acquired Crane Cams when they went out of business in 2009. It appears they're producing some pretty good quality valvetrain parts.

I'll tell you this slayer, when I get the money I plan to get a set of their rocker arms. I'm sure they wouldn't want their name tarnished by selling sub par parts.

Ya. I think you're right, Brett.
I actually installed the Elgin rollers after a recommendation from a few guys here. They have solid pins and hardened bearings. Been running them over a year with no problems at all. They are designed and owned by Americans but, built in China. Just like the Apple iPhone!:D Anyway, I found out they have USA people onsite who monitor quality. They are built to the same standard they would be if they were made by American hands. I think they're excellent and at $125 a set, you can't beat it! Check 'em out.
