Not sure if this is the right section but...
My 81 was originally equipped with a rear grid defroster, but my current rear glass has no grid. I still have the switch which has no wiring going to it. Anyone have any fun ideas for a random switch? I was thinking maybe an ignition kill switch and using a toggle like a missile switch from a fighter jet.

Mine was the same, had the switch, but no grid in glass. Removed the switch and put in one for driving lights behind the grill.

It would make a good ignition cut off switch.

On my wife's car, I cut the hole out and put a port in for cell charging or a Garmin.

Im putting the grid glass in my 78. Still need to know if the switch is a momentary switch or a on/off.

In my 69 chevy long bed i was tossing around the idea of mounting an electric paintball gun in the front and putting the switch from the trigger in the cab.
