The NOS decals this fellow is selling has the Printed in USA on them in a completely different font. Is that the issue with the repos? Or, are we saying that there should be no Printed in USA on the assembly line sticker?

I THINK, from the few I have looked at, it seems that 71 on all have the printing and 70 does not. The repops all seem to have it. Is this what others have noticed?

Anybody know who the original source to GM was for the 1970 decals?

    Don't know.
    Been researching this a bit.
The general consensus is that the 69's HAD the "Printed in USA" on the decal from the factory. Strange how it would skip a year (70). Wondering if it isn't another case of multiple vendors where one did print it and one didn't. For something as simple as a decal I would think GM had multiple vendors. Tooling was cheap.

I just looked at my decals from yrs ago that I bought from Jim Osborn and the 350/360 part number DC98 is the mirrored one.
