What source sells the correct air cleaner decal for a 1970 Z28?

    More of a matte silver background than a shiny chrome.
    The lettering is much more defined and the edges are crisper. Less bleed.

    Mark, I wanted to mention placement of this decal. I see people try to align this decal in the middle of the lid which I believe is incorrect. Factory placement seems to be inconsistent but I believe it should be closer to the edge.
    See the pics below, I believe this to be the correct placement even though the curvature of the decal does not parallel the air cleaner perfectly.

    So it looks like the consensus is at this point that no one sells a correct decal.

    Does anyone know the GM part number for this?

    Someone stole it for their school locker or school note binder.

    Most of the magazine cars are real early builds. Maybe the decal wasn't ready yet.
    Never mind, who knows about that car. The tower hose clamps have already been replaced.

    This one from YearOne looks close but it seems like no one uses an accurate image to depict the actual decal they’re selling. It might turn out to be too reflective. I’ve purchased from 3 different sources (not including YearOne) and the detail has been very poor.
