If you make the spoiler taller it will look like this!
have read the 1pc. actually cancels downforce at high speed
Either are fine on the early cars. The reason why Chevrolet went to the three piece rear spoiler was to get more rear downforce in racing,
I had the short one on mine and changed it to the tall one I just think the tall one looks better
Maybe not that much lol
The one thing about the 3 piece that I'm not a fan of is how large the two outside pieces are and how they cover a large part of the rear quarter panel. I was at Good Guys in early October and saw a black Gen 2 with a 3 piece spoiler. The end piece on this spoiler was different from any I've seen, see pic below.
Can someone shed some light on this spoiler?
BTW...if the owner that belongs to this Camaro is on this site, you have a very clean, good looking car!
i believe that is the later year spoiler on an early year car
I agree, that is a later year spoiler on an earlier body style. My question, most 3 piece spoilers I've seen, the end piece wraps around the rear quarter of the car. The one in the pic, the end piece is a lot smaller. My question is this a different manufacturers style or a from a different car, maybe the trans am or something.
Simply a different mfg style from the later year Camaro's.
Definitely a fan of the short spoiler. I think it gives it a more bullish look.
