Which sensor do I use? The MSD intake has a port you have to drill out and then a threaded hole next to it to hold it in place I assume. The GM ones I am seeing for '14 & '15 LS7 Camaros and earlier vettes that use an lS7 don't look like they would fit...

It should be matched to the ecu.

Again, this is a harness/ecm intended to be used with the crate LS7. They probably assume the MAP sensor is included with the engine because they don't really address the issue in the instructions. The only reference to what kind of MAP sensor it might use is where they describe the bulkhead connector outputs. It says the MAP output "is a 0-5 volt signal ranging from 1.5-15.2 psia". I would assume this is of the one bar variety? Don't know if this is enough info to pick a sensor?

From what I can find part# 12615801 is the correct map which is the same as an LS7 Corvette.
This is for the 19354334 harness and ecu kit.
You also need this seal 16194007

The MAP sensors are pretty universal. I looked up the correct one for my engine (used 2008 LS7 Corvette ) Cross referenced the part number and you'll see many of the are comparable with each other.

Btw, I rewired mine so I didn't use that retarded adapter the harness provides

Part number I'm using, got it from the junk yard. These are stupid expensive. Picked 2 of them for $5. If you go to Rock Auto it shows my part # cross referenced for a 7.0 corvette

Thanks for your help guys. I think both of those are the right ones - especially the 12615801. But the problem is the way they mount. The MSD uses a shcs to secure the sensor. I suspect like this one: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/ado-12644228

That one is for the 2014/15 LT1/LT4 corvette though - not sure it it would work?

I have found a few others few this mounting feature, but not sure which one to use. Maybe I'll give MSD a call...

Can you post a picture of the mount on the intake for it? The ZR1 has one that has the screw hole.

The 12615801 has a clip that holds it on the stock intake, but I just run a screw with a washer into the threaded hole in the intake and trap the sensor in the square area where the clip goes. Fast sends you a screw for this with their intake. The hole for that map sensor and grommet is 3/8", I don't know what size thread MSD uses in their intake but with the Fast manifold you use a M4X20 screw to hold the sensor. I put a drop of blue loctite on the screw because you don't really torque it down, just enough to trap the sensor.

Yep, I could do that too. I don't have a problem improvising - been in my job description for years. I just figured MSD had a plan and I was trying to figure out what that was. It also looks cleaner mounting the sensor as intended. If I don't find something by tomorrow, I'll probably order the 12615801 and make it work. It is after all the one GM is specing for that harness and I need to get this boat in the water!

The attached pics are of the front MAP location. MSD offers 3 locations on the intake to mount the sensor. They use a 6mm screw...
