What is this?

    I believe that is the clutch pedal neutral safety switch.

    Tnx. Car running fine without it. Thinking to just leave well enough alone. Thoughts?

    car could start in gear...I've had that happen & it's SCARY

    As others have stated, without it the car can start if the clutch pedal is not pressed.

    How would it start without it? If its disconnected the circuit is broken to start....

    I'm looking for one of these...Where can I get one and how does it bolt to the pedal?

    When someone jumps it out because they are stuck or can’t find one . I had a picture up but with the whole Photobucket thing ..
